- 1 lb lean ground beef or turkey
- 1 cup pizza sauce
- 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
- 2 tsp Italian seasoning
- 1 medium onion (diced)

- 2 tsp olive oil
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
- Heat olive oil in a skillet over medium heat. Sauté onions and garlic until fragrant, about 2 minutes. Add ground meat and cook until browned.
- Stir in pizza sauce and Italian seasoning; simmer for 5 minutes.
- In a greased baking dish, layer half the zucchini, half the meat mixture, and half the cheese. Repeat the layers.
- Cover with foil and bake for 30 minutes. Remove foil for the last 10 minutes to brown the top.
- Let cool slightly before serving.
