  • 4 cups chopped green cabbage
  • 1 medium yellow onion, diced
  • 3 cloves garlic, minced
  • 2 tbsp low-sodium soy sauce
  • 1 tsp fresh ginger, grated
  • 1/2 tsp ground black pepper
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • 2 green onions, chopped (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Chop the cabbage into thin strips, dice the onion, mince the garlic, and grate the ginger.
  2. In a large skillet over medium heat, add vegetable oil until shimmering. Add onions, garlic, and ginger; sauté for 2-3 minutes until fragrant.
  3. Increase heat to medium-high and crumble in the ground beef. Cook for 5-7 minutes until browned.
  4. Stir in chopped cabbage along with soy sauce and black pepper. Cook for another 5-8 minutes until cabbage wilts.
  5. Stir everything together for an additional 3-5 minutes. Adjust seasoning if needed.
  6. Plate the Mongolian Ground Beef and Cabbage and garnish with sliced green onions. Enjoy hot!
