  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/4 cup brown sugar
  • 1/3 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • Pinch of salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/4 cup melted butter or vegetable oil

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C).
  2. Mash the ripe bananas in a mixing bowl.
  3. In another bowl, combine melted butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar, and vanilla extract; mix until glossy.
  4. Beat in the eggs one at a time followed by the mashed bananas.
  5. Sift together the flour, cocoa powder, baking powder, and salt; gently fold into the wet ingredients until just combined.
  6. Pour the batter into a greased 9×9-inch baking pan and smooth it out.
  7. Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted comes out clean.
