Description

  • 1 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
  • 1 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup brown sugar
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 1/4 tsp salt
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup unsalted butter, melted
  • 1/2 cup creamy or crunchy peanut butter
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease an 8×8 inch baking pan or line it with parchment paper.
  2. In a microwave-safe bowl, melt the butter and chopped chocolate together until smooth.
  3. In a large bowl, whisk together granulated sugar, brown sugar, and eggs until combined. Stir in the melted chocolate mixture and vanilla extract.
  4. Gently fold in cocoa powder, flour, baking powder, and salt until just mixed.
  5. Pour half the batter into the prepared pan. Drop spoonfuls of peanut butter on top before adding the remaining batter. Swirl with a knife.
  6. Bake for 25-30 minutes until the top is set but still soft in the center. A toothpick inserted should come out with moist crumbs.
