Ingredients
- 1 lb lean ground beef
- 1 medium onion, finely chopped
- 2 medium carrots, diced
- 1 cup frozen peas
- 1 cup low-sodium beef broth
- 2 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 2 lb Yukon Gold potatoes, peeled and cubed
- 4 tbsp butter
- ¼ cup milk
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- In a skillet over medium heat, brown the ground beef until no longer pink. Drain excess fat and transfer to the crockpot.
- Sauté chopped onions in the same skillet until translucent; add to the crockpot.
- Add diced carrots, frozen peas, Worcestershire sauce, and beef broth to the crockpot. Stir to combine.
- Season with salt and pepper; stir again.
- Boil cubed potatoes in salted water until fork-tender (about 15 minutes). Drain and mash with butter and milk until fluffy.
- Spread mashed potatoes over the meat mixture in the crockpot, creating peaks.
