  • 1 cup orzo pasta
  • 2 cups fresh broccoli florets
  • 4 cloves garlic, minced
  • 3 cups low-sodium chicken broth
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • ½ cup grated parmesan cheese
  • Salt & pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. 1. Prepare the ingredients: Cut chicken into bite-sized pieces, mince garlic, and rinse broccoli.
  2. 2. Cook the chicken: Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chicken pieces seasoned with salt and pepper; cook until golden brown (5-7 minutes).
  3. 3. Add garlic & broccoli: Stir in minced garlic and broccoli florets; sauté for an additional 3-4 minutes until fragrant.
  4. 4. Cook orzo: In a separate pot, bring chicken broth to a boil. Add orzo and cook according to package instructions until al dente (8-10 minutes).
  5. 5. Combine all ingredients: Drain excess liquid from orzo and add it to the skillet with the chicken and broccoli mixture; stir well to combine.
